You can check the airport’s website for flights to Odessa. International Airport Odessa is located in the southwestern part of Odessa, 4.7 mi away from the city center.
There are trains from Vroclav, Minsk, Kishinev, Moscow and Uzhgrod to Odessa main station in Odessa. You can check the website for trains to Odessa. There are one main station in Odessa: Odessa Main Station. These historic station buildings are nostalgic gateways to the city. Station are well equipped with restaurants, newspaper kiosks, waiting rooms and ATMs.
Transfer from Airport to City Center
If you prefer traveling by public transport you can use buses №117 and №129 to reach the city center as well as return to the airport. The bus stop is located opposite the terminal on your right. The time schedule is approximately 10–30 min. It takes about 1 hour to reach the city center by bus. The bus fare is 2.5 UAH (you should pay to the driver before exiting the bus). Most European countries do not need visa to enter Ukraine up to 180 days or they can obtain visa at the border. Please check the link below to see your country’s status.
If a visa is required please inquire your local Ukraine embassy about the documents, fee and procedure. An invitation letter for visa application can be sent as required. If you require an invitation letter please include a note in travel details in the form below or contact us later.
There is a cafeteria close to the venue and a restaurant collective close by. Naturally, there are more luxurious therefore more expensive choices if you prefer.
We recommend participants to choose accommodation options around Kanatna str. or close to the historical center of Odessa as it would be easier to get to the tournament site. Hostels, which accommodate students and non-students alike, can be found and reserved here.

09:30 – 09:45 : Finalization of registration
09:45 – 10:00 : Opening ceremony and announcement of pairings
10:10 – 12:30 : Round 1
12:30 – 13:30 : Lunch break
13:30 – 16:00 : Round 2
16:00 – 16:15 : Interim
16:15 – 18:45 : Round 3
October 20th (Sunday)
10:00 – 12:30 : Round 4
12:30 – 14:30 : Lunch break

16:30 – 18:00 : Award ceremony and Finale
The tournament results will be submitted to the EGD as required by the EGF for European Go Cup Tournaments; thus all participants’ results will effect their European Ranking. Points for the European Go Cup will also be granted to the respective winners. Please refer to the Go European Cup page for further details. The first three players will be presented with monetary prizes. The first five and players showing exceptional performance will also be awarded.
The monetary prizes will be distributed as follows:
1st place: €100
2nd place: €60
3rd place: €40

The fee for the tournament has been set at €10 for preliminary registrants and €13 for on site registration. Preregistrants under the age of 18 can participate free of charge.
Preregistrants under 18 free of charge
Registration must be finalized on arrival or at least until 09:30 local time on the 19th of October. Preregistration deadline was October 9rd 2013. We would like to remind our guests that preparations are made based on the list of preregistered players. In the unlikely event of demand surpassing projections, preregistering players will have precedence over new comers. The risks and liabilities arising from not registering prior to October 9rd 2013 rests solely on the players.
Attention: Preregistration is not equivalent to registering. It is required that preliminary registrants finalize their registration strictly before mentioned deadline.
Since otherwise the proceeding of the tournament schedule will be compromised, participants that do not show up on time on the first day of the tournament without prior notice will be dropped from the tournament.
